The existing GoodWe inverter has been connected to the Backup, allowing it to continue operating in off-grid mode during a grid outage.
This ensures seamless power supply and maximises solar generation even when the grid is down.
To activate Backup Mode:
- Switch the Changeover Switch to the UP position (as connected by your installer)
- Turn OFF the Main Switch
If everything remains powered, your home is successfully running on backup power during a grid outage.
